Continuing with the PM4K NEWS Series on the Commonwealth Games Project here’s another update.
NEW DELHI: A fire broke out at a Commonwealth Games site in Delhi University area in the north of the capital Thursday (24-Dec-09) evening. No one was injured, a fire brigade official said. “We received a call at 7.05 PM about a fire in the fibre sheets installed at the under construction site,” a fire brigade official said.
“Five fire tenders were rushed to the spot and they took nearly two hours to control the fire. No one was injured in the incident,” the official added.
