Continuing with the PM4K NEWS Series on the Commonwealth Games Project here’s another update.
NEW DELHI: New Delhi's preparations for the 2010 Commonwealth Games has picked up pace over the last two months but the event still risks failure, according to the Commonwealth Games Federation (CGF) Coordination Commission, whose full report was published today. Chaired by CGF treasurer Austin Sealy, the Coordination Commission visited the Indian capital last week to inspect preparations. The panel said in its conclusion: "While substantial progress has been demonstrated by OC (Organising Committee) and its delivery partners since last COCOM, it is clear successful delivery of the Games remains at risk in many key areas.
